Carrot Protein Balls

These healthy treats will help to stabilise your blood sugar levels.


  • 2 cups of grated carrots
  • 12 medjool dates
  • ½ cup raisins
  • ¼ cup of walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of grated ginger
  • 8 tablespoons of collagen powder
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon of allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • Shredded coconut


  1. Mix all the ingredients (excluding the shredded coconut) in a food processor until they are smooth.
  2. Put the mixture in the freezer for 30 minutes to chill or until hard enough to form balls.
  3. Roll into 16 even sized balls using your hands.
  4. Roll the balls in a shallow bowel of the shredded coconut.
  5. Store in a freezer bag in the freezer.
